Aditi
When Aditi was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2015, I was really lost. It was only when I connected with MaxLove Project did I feel heard, empowered, and in control. This community gave me access to real evidence-based research to use food as medicine. The cancer journey can be very unforgiving, but this community helped us thrive, not just survive, both physically and emotionally.
Aditi turns 10 on August 23. In the not-so-distant past I wondered many times if “big 10” was even a possibility for us, and here we are thriving and celebrating. We owe a big chunk of that to MaxLove Project. They understood us, stood by us, cried and laughed with us in this dreadful cancer path. They are the reason we stood strong in this nightmarish journey.
It gives me such happiness to share Aditi's poems with her supporters from across the map. Aditi has been working with a wonderful poetic mentor, thanks to her amazing MaPa Neelu. Together we are working toward getting a collection of her poems to print. My little girl always manages to blow me away with her personality. – Swetha, Aditi’s Momma

The Land of No More Pain 💕
The land of no more pain is filled with joy and laughter,
with smiles as bright as the sun
With cotton candy clouds raining presents and cards
from friends and family here to welcome you back into the world.
Amusement parks and swaying boat rides that tickle your stomach
You with a river of happiness inside
wanting to see the world again finally free of pain
Maybe one of the happiest days in your life but not the last one yet
LOVE and HAPPINESS, JOY and LAUGHTER It can’t get any better!
Still braces and a lot of checkups?
You're not completely out of the woods yet?
It’s ok because you just took your first step out, you will work hard
and conquer the woods to the land of no more pain
then you will be free of pain, of the hospital, of the land of pain ….
But you will still visit the land of pain but you won't live in it.
