In Honor and In Memory

A Portrait Exhibit by Diana Mordin

About the Artist: “I was introduced to the childhood cancer community when I was asked to draw a portrait of a little girl battling DIPG. That child opened my eyes and changed the way I saw the world. She showed me the struggles these children and families face daily but also showed me the importance of finding the light even within the darkness. I have spent 10 years advocating for families battling cancer. In that time I have drawn well over 150 portraits of courageous kids. Each portrait tells a story. It’s a reminder of simpler times, of overcoming struggles, and of the enormous love we all have for these kids and teens. In a sense, it is a way of celebrating and honoring their lives.”
